Editorial Policy & Ethics
Written with care. Corrected with honesty.
Trust is built slowly, one honest sentence at a time.
Readers give us their time and their attention. In return, we owe them work they can rely on.
Why We Publish
Technology moves quickly, and good explanations rarely keep up. Tech-Stribe exists to slow things down: to explain how AI, software, cybersecurity, hardware, and devices actually work, in clear language, with the details intact.
Accuracy Comes First
We aim to get things right before we get them out:
- Primary Sources: We check technical claims against reliable sources such as official documentation, standards bodies, and published academic research.
- Fact vs. Opinion: We clearly separate verifiable facts from editorial opinion so you always know which one you are reading.
- Hype-Free Analysis: If a technology is early, uncertain, or unproven, we state that explicitly.
- Source Attribution: We credit original sources and link directly to them wherever it helps the reader.
A good explanation doesn’t pretend to know everything. It is honest about where knowledge ends.
Editorial Independence
What we publish is decided entirely by our independent editorial judgment. Topics are chosen because they are useful, educational, and relevant to our readers, not because a third party requested coverage.
All reviews, hardware recommendations, and technical teardowns published on Tech-Stribe are independent and free from external influence.
Transparency
We believe readers should know how a piece came to exist:
- Authors and technical contributors are clearly named on every article.
- We do not accept paid or sponsored editorial placements. If any financial relationship or review hardware is ever involved in a story, it is disclosed plainly.
Corrections & Updates
Everyone makes mistakes. What matters is how they are handled.
When we find an error, or a reader points one out, we review it promptly and correct it. Where a change is substantive, we add an explicit update note on the article explaining what was changed and why.
To report an error or technical discrepancy, please visit our Contact Page with the article title and your suggested correction.
Respect for Readers and Subjects
We write about technology, but technology is built and used by people. We aim to be fair to the engineers and organizations we cover, to avoid careless claims, and to treat our readers as thoughtful adults.
Good writing on a hard subject is a form of respect.
